Cricket South Africa on Thursday named its final squad for the upcoming World T20 Championship, to be held in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 between September 18 and October 7. Veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis has been included in the 15-member squad
that will tour Island nation next month, while Test team captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/GC-Smith-c1473 failed to make the cut.

his experience and the promising form of late, earned him selectors’ nod for the mega event.
Graeme Smith, who was last month named by the Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in the 30-man squad for the World Championship, has not made the final 15. The CSA did not offer an explanation for omission of Smith.
The 31-year-old left-handed top-order batsman, who is currently leading the Proteas in the three-Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 at latter’s backyard, last played a T20 International for South Africa in October 2011.

The 21-year-old fast bowler Marchant de Lange has been overlooked for the esteemed tournament. South Africa’s convener of selectors http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Charles-Hudson-c44308 said that de Lange has not made the squad due to a back injury, which he had sustained
during the triangular T20 series in Zimbabwe.
"We were not able to consider Marchant de Lange through injury," said convener of selectors Andrew Hudson. “But we are confident that our squad will be very competitive and make South Africa proud. We have had basically the same squad
together for the past year,” he added further.
