South Africa announces squads for Pakistan, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 series
The South African squads for the Tests, ODIs and T20Is against Zimbabwe and Pakistan have been announced, and Colin Ingram is one of the new faces who has got a look-in.

South Africa play Zimbabwe at home in a two T20I and a three ODI series, while they take on http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 at Dubai and Abu Dhabi in a series of one T20I, five ODIs and two Test matches. This is the first time
a Test match will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Earlier, a Test has been played in Sharjah, also located in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033.

Ingram has been in a great touch in recent times in domestic cricket. He was the highest scorer of the domestic Pro20 tournament while playing for the Warriors and had an outstanding MTN40 series as well.
Ingram’s statistics read 600 runs in the MTN40 at an average of 60, and a strike-rate of more than 100 and 283 runs at 47.16 in the Pro20.

Apart from Ingram, the selectors have also got in Wayne Parnell in all the three formats of the game after he had missed out in the previous series that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 played. Parnell takes the place of Ryan
McLaren.

The T20Is will also see a new wicket-keeper, Heino Kuhn who will replace http://www.senore.com/Cricket/AB-de-Villiers-c887 in the squad. Mark Boucher has been retained as the wicket-keeper in the Tests, while de Villiers will keep wickets
in the ODIs.

Jacques Kallis, who was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore side in the ongoing Champions League T20 before he injured himself has been rested along with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dale-c52110 Steyn. Steyn, who is also playing in the
CLT20 for Bangalore seemed to have hurt his elbow during the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians game and the selectors have decided not to risk him for the T20Is.

Andrew Hudson, the convenor of South African selectors said, “They are two key players for the ICC World Cup next year and we need to manage them carefully. The next ICC World Twenty20 is 18 months away and
this also provides us the opportunity to look at several younger players.”
