England pacer, Steven Finn, is satisfied by the way he bowled against the mighty South Africans on the opening day of the Lord’s Test.
With the match holding great importance for the hosts, Finn gave his side a staggering start by nabbing three wickets in the first session to leave the South Africans flabbergasted.
England’s performance has come after they had a terrible week dealing with the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KP-Pietersen-c1806 fiasco, but Finn insisted in an interview with Sky Sports 1 that the players were focussed on giving South Africa a tough time in the series finale.
“We're 11 guys who just want to go out and play. I maybe got a bit greedy at times which is why I went at four and over. But I'm in the team to take wickets,” said the fast bowler.
“It was going to be one of days, they batted well in the sunny periods. We knew when we needed to take our opportunities and in other times play attritional cricket. It would have been nice (to bowl South Africa out) but it is good that we stuck to our guns. No-one got away from us and when the sun is out here it's a good place to bat," he added.
