Cricket South Africa on Tuesday, February 21 announced the 14-man squad that will be taking part in the three match One-Day International series against New Zealand.
The Proteas have overlooked Richard Levi, the 24-year-old batsman who scored Twenty20 cricket’s fastest hundred against the Kiwis on February 19, 2012. Levi smashed a century of just 45 deliveries; it was his unbeaten innings of

back home. He is an exciting prospect for us and he will be monitored and nurtured accordingly. His time will come.”
Hudson sees a great cricketer in Levi and said that it’s only a matter of time before the 24-year-old makes his way into ODI format of the game.
He said, “In terms of his one-day aspirations, I am hoping that that will follow in due course. He is a fine player and I hope one day he represents South Africa in the ODI format as well.”
