South Africa rejects Bangladesh’s series offer – Cricket News Update
Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 has declined Bangladesh Cricket Board’s invitation of a limited-overs series, citing hectic scheduling as the prime reason. BCB made the offer earlier in the week, hoping to stage a series of ODIs and T20Is in May, in a bid to keep their
players fresh following the delay in their tours of Zimbabwe and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755.
The CSA chief executive, Jacques Faul, mentioned that it was difficult for the national side to contest the Bengali Tigers, considering that many of the players are involved in the on-going Indian Premier League – likes http://www.senore.com/Cricket/JP-Duminy-c1742,

“At the moment most of our senior Proteas are spread around the world ... and those who are at home are undergoing rehabilitation from injuries picked up during the past season,” said Faul.
Following the conclusion of the IPL, the Proteas will need to recuperate and gear themselves for a battle against the no.1 ranked Test side http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, scheduled to take place from July 19, after which they will contest in World T20 Cup in September.
“We also have to bear in mind that the Proteas have a hectic schedule ahead of it with very important tours to England and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 sandwiched in between,” he added.
The CSA’s stance was further strengthened by the refusal from the South African Cricketers' Association (SACA) to send their players to Bangladesh, who claimed that it will be difficult to recall the players from their current commitments.
"The Proteas team management and players have also put their plans in place in the build-up to their tour of England and it would be impossible to change them at this stage." SACA chief executive Tony Irish said.
The news is a setback for the Bengali Tigers, after their proposed tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 was all set to take a short trip to Pakistan for a solitary ODI and T20,
before a court-order halted their preparations.
