South Africa sets Pakistan a baffling task in Abu Dhabi
South Africa has set Pakistan a mountain to climb in order to win the first Test of the series in the heat of Dubai. In the pursuit of 451 runs, Pakistan has begun their innings watchfully to avoid an early stutter.
In the hunt, Pakistan has made a solid start, scoring 28 runs from their first eight overs. Mohammad Hafeez looked well set to contribute a significant total. In addition, Taufeeq Umar is blocking deliveries to play the sheet anchors role.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 started the 2nd session of play in a commanding way as the duo of Jacques Kallis and Hashim Amla were closing in on their centuries. The pair already had registered a 163-run partnership to stamp their authority in the process.
Moreover, the team from Africa dominated the 2nd session of play as they mustered 318 runs in their 2nd outing. In doing so, the pair of Amla and Kallis recorded scintillating centuries to put the opposition under pressure in the hunt.
Hashim Amla is having a purple patch as he is boasting great form with the willow.  Amla scored a master class century with his blazing bat in anticipation to dismantle Pakistan. Resultantly, the master player cracked 118 runs to earn his team a daunting
position.
Jacques Kallis showed great application and calmness to record his 35th Test century. Apparently, the master batsman, in his unbeaten innings of 135 runs, played the spin twins of Pakistan in an authoritative fashion as he blasted the spin combo
to all parts of the ground.
Pakistan, who were a bowler short, had to struggle as the Proteas abandoned all ways of getting out in an unassailable association of 242 runs.  Wahab Riaz pulled a muscle during the first innings, which led him to bat out the remaining series.
Abdur Rehman and Saeed Ajmal didn’t bowl that badly not to take a wicket the whole day. Catches were put down and a number of chances went begging in the Abu Dhabi.
Adnan Akmal, the wicket keeper replicated his brother Kamran Akmal by not hanging on to couple of simple chances. The spinners generated a lot of mistakes from the bat, though their wicket keeper did let them down by not holding on to a single catch.
One of the openers has to play a long innings if http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 has to close in to the massive South African total. The team from the Subcontinent has to learn from their mistakes in the 1st innings.
