A mix-up between Amla and Kallis gifted Sri Lanka their second wicket of the innings. De Villiers came in next to fillthe vacant spot left by Kallis. The skipper of Proteas did not let the momentum slip and along with Amla, who
got to his 9th ODI century in 41st over, put on 91 runs for the third wicket.
The stage was set for the South African batsmen to go berserk in the death overs, but Lankan bowlers pulled things back drastically to restrict the Proteas to 302. Lankans took six wickets within a span of 10 overs with Malinga
being the major contributor claiming four scalps to complete his fifth five-wicket haul in ODI cricket.
