Even if Mugabe leaves, which he won't short of military intervention, what is left? Even if the MDC did come into power whay would they inherit? - 2.000.000% inflation, wrecked agriculure, wrecked economy, HIV soaring, hatred, alienation and corruption that goes to the core. It would not be long before the MDC became tainted because it is impossible to build a democratic society in an African country under these conditions- the poverty alone breeds corruption. The only way forward I see is for Zimbabwe to be put under a South African or SADC mandate with an interim MDC government and UN-International forces policing the country. A

After that, who is going to pay and who is going to invest? I wonder if Ian Smith were still alive today, in a free and open vote how many would have voted for him back!!!!

What do you guys think?

  1. Forget abot SA,all they'll do is to suck up to is Mugabe.x*x

  2. I think that when Ian Smith got UDI it was the best thing that ever happened to Zimbabwe (Rhodesia), the economy boomed and the Z$ was even richer than the pound!

It's such a shame that a once beautiful country ended up like this. I once said Margaret Thacher was perhaps a good Prime Minister but I am changing my mind since knowing that she was the one who put so many sanction on Zim because they didn't want Ian Smith in power which lead to handing over Zim to Mugabe.

I think where there is a will there is a way, but everyone has to do their bit. Over seas companies need to invest in Zim and even the local people must try their bit to clean up the country. The farmers who's farms where taken should be invited back to their farms and the help of big nations would be needed. China must stay well away and the only thing that should be exchanged is goods.
