South African Universites?

1 .I am trying to get my MS degree in South Africa , in one of these universities in Genetics, University of Cape Town or University of Witwatersrand (Wits) , are these South African Universities Accepted in United States? I want to continue my PHD in USA , will they accept my MS from South Africa?such as UCLA or University of Chicago or even Harvard ?are South African universities good in Genetics?

2. which of these universities is better ?University of Cape Town or University of Witwatersrand (Wits) ?

Cape Town is the more well known of the two, it is also always the highest ranked university in South Africa.

Many people who study at UCT go on to study at top institutions around the world.

Sciences is one of UCT's strong points, so you should recieve a very good education.
