  1. In light of the present situation in Zimbabwe I believe if the present events had occurred pre '94 maybe the Nuclear is a possibility but I think domestic politics would've pushed for the end of Apartheid none the less


  2. South Africa should have abandoned neither Apartheid, nor its nuclear armaments program/s. South Africa has been emasculated and impoverished since those fateful 1994 elections. What a stuff-up!

  3. They would 've supported Mandela because he is not trigger happy like the Apartheid Government.

    He is a peace loving person.

    I just can't see why we would ever need a nuclear arsenal.

    What the benefit?

    Lets just concentrate on the pebble bed reactor something that will benefit humanity.
