  1. Well Hennie I would share the Cola in grande agitazione Pisello Di Mare with you but the airfare would cover the inflation I think.

  2. No, i agree with Blue Bull, it is definitely expensive, but it's still a bargain if you love meat or a braai

  3. We eat more sausages, pre packaged chicken and pork nuggets, schnitzels etc, not only because of the ridiculous price of meat but also as they are easier to prepare, especially during the week, as both my wife and I work and don't fancy cooking in the evenings.

We still braai lamb chops and steak often though, it has really become an expensive luxury though.

  4. No Hennie I buy my lamb and mutton directly from the Karoo farmer at between R 27 - R 35 a kilo. He cuts it up into whatever I want, and even put it in plastic bags for me. As for steak, that i buy from the butcher. I have not stopped eating less meat, I love meat and will always make a plan.

  5. No damm no. I will not be able to prepare a meal without meat. We buy in bulk and that way save somewhat. A hind qtr is now R28.95 and that then includes your rump/t-bone and fillet steak.

  6. do you expect us to eat soya?

a south african will die without our braai's.

so we may skimp...we will never give it up
