  1. Hey there!

Yup, North Shore is where most of us live. Theres even a little South African fair every year. Try on www.trademe.co.nz   I'm sure they got a flatmates wanted part.

  2. G'day again - I see you are finally going to make the big trip !

    Congrats !

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Rentals/...  is VERY popular in NZ - classified for flatmates.

    http://www.flatmates-new-zealand.com/

    http://www.nzflatmates.co.nz/

also see a couple message boards for NZ - http://www.uthink.co.nz and http://www.nzmessageboard.co.nz

  3. Most South Africans that live in Auckland live on the North Shore and some in the Eastern Suburban area of Howick and surrounding areas.  But most on the North Shore.  Place an ad in the North Shore Times Advertiser www.fairfaxnz.co.nz/

    publications/general/info74.html

email someone off the website asking for classified advertising in the North Shore Times Advertiser and create a short ad.

Also check out this website www.sinzasa.org.nz and click on links and it shows all the South African organisations in New Zealand, I'm sure someone there will be able to help you.  I would try there first.

Bear in mind you don't have to flat with only South Africans, I don't see the point in leaving your country to just associate with other people from your country, but in an overseas destination.  I purposely avoided my race when I travelled overseas as I wanted different cultural experiences.
