South Africa’s Roger Hudson and Jim Asenathi all set for 2012 London Olympics – Sailing News
Upcoming Olympic Games in London has made every sailor to be on their toes for the ultimate sailing experience in London. Many of the teams in the 470 Men fleet of the 2012 Delta Lloyd Regatta have qualified for the Olympics including the South African team
of Roger Hudson and Jim Asenathi.
The South African pair is all set to show their talent in the mega event and believe they will be able to make it to the expectations of their nation. Despite the fact that they are on 10th podium place in the overall 470 Men standings, the duo
is not disheartened at all and is determined to give their best in the event.
On the fourth day of the 2012 Delta Lloyd Regatta, the RSA team clinched an 11th place followed by an OCS (On the Course Side) which dragged them down to 10th position. However, they are hopeful to hit the higher podium finishes in
the remaining races.
At the end of Day four, the Irish team comprising of Owens Ger and Scott Flanigan stayed on top of the fleet results with 29 points.
