I am planning a 3 week trip to Brazil and Peru for June 2008. I need to travel 1) between the Cucso area (not sure where the nearest airport is) and Manaus 2) from Manaus to Rio de Janeiro. I would like to know where i can get a cheap price for domestic flights for these two journeys? Does anyone know what this would cost? Are there any deals if you are getting more than one flight? I would appreciate any information on these two journeys. Thanks.

  1. For flights in Brazil if you buy the see Brazil air travel tourist coupons abroad then it works out cheaper than local. You could buy say three coupons and it should be cheaper than buying each sector of the journey. Your travel agent should be able to do that. If you cant do it this way you can also book online with either gol or tam airlines. The system works and the e tickets are fine.

  2. Nowadays, the cheapest flights you can get in that region is Gol airlines (Brazilian) Check their webpage to see flights to Manaus. I know that there isnt a flight from Cuzco to Manaus. www.voegol.com

Another cheap airline that you can take to Cuzco could be AeroCondor (Peruvian) although I recommend Lan Peru for flights whithin Peru, although it's more expensive.

    Cuzco has an international airport.

No idea how much it could cost but you can check the airlines webpages as everyday there are lots of discounts and offers. You still have plenty of time to check for offers.

  3. 1) http://www.lan.com, http://www.aerocondor.com.pe

those two airlines offers you from time to time good deals, lan gives you 3% if you buy an eticket plus if you buy with time your ticket, it will be cheaper.

    2) http://www.voegol.com.br, http://www.varig.com.br, http://www.tam.com.br, those flight out from Lima to Sao paulo

    Good Luck
