South American going to India. Could you help?

I am from Peru and I am planning to visit India next year with my mother. There are some options available for us, but it's difficult to find the perfect choice. We would love to visit the Taj Mahal and stay in New Delhi as well as Bangalore. I know Bangalore is at the south of India, but we really wish to go there!

Do you know any companies that offer a tour for the northern AND southern areas? Or someone from South America that has been to India and could help?

Thanks in advance!*

Post lunch you will be taken to see the “New Delhi” which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing the India Gate, The Presidential House, the Secratariat, the Parliament House and many other buildings in that area.

Drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India. Evening back to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

    DAY 3: Delhi - Agra

After an early breakfast, leave for Agra which is 205 kms from Delhi and about a four hour drive. Reach Agra and check in at the Hotel. Post lunch you will be taken to visit the famous monument of love- the Taj Mahal. This most famous Mughal monument was constructed by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal who died while giving birth to his 14th child and after just 17 yrs of marriage. It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. The central structure has four small domes surrounding the huge central dome. The Taj Mahal is not open to visitors on Fridays.

After the Taj Mahal, visit the Agra Fort which lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of town. It was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gats and walls of red sandstone and a moat. Overnight at the Hotel.

    DAY 4: Agra- Jaipur

The drive from Agra to Jaipur takes about 4 hours as the distance is 238 kms. After breakfast visit Fatehpur Sikri enroute to Jaipur. Upon arrival at Jaipur check in at the Hotel and have some leisure time till evening. Overnight at the hotel.

    DAY 5: Jaipur sightseeing

Full day sightseeing and shopping in Jaipur. Visit the The City palace in the heart of the old city which is the former royal residence that houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs.

Near the Palace is Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Also visit the landmark of the “Pink City” the Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the street without being seen.

Evening can be spent in strolling in the many streets or lanes of the Bazaar to pick up souvenirs and memorabilia. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6: Jaipur- Delhi (265 kms) four hour drive.

  4. Hi, first you need to book a hotel in New Delhi, as ur international flight from Peru will land in Delhi as u need to see the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal is in Agra, some 3 -4 hours journey by road.

What i can tell u is once u have ur hotel bookings done in Delhi, tell the Hotel staff to book ur tickets to Agra as well as Bangalore.

Try traveling to Bangalore by Train in an AC compartment not much expensive.

For shopping Delhi and Bangalore both are good places.

After visiting Bangalore u can either fly from Bangalore to Peru or u can check with Local Travel Agents from where u can get a flight to Peru.
