Does South Australian law prohibit drivers from using GPS devices mounted on their windshields while operating motor vehicles?

  1. Technically speaking yes it is illegal as it is condisered to be blocking your vision, a distraction to your driving and if you use it when driving it like talking on a mobile with no hands free. Most cops will let it slide as heaps of ppl have them there. Simply just walk into your local cop shop n ask the exact same question then you have no doubt. If they say it ok. get it in writing!! Better for arguements when another cop tries booking you!


  2. Simple enough, mount it below the windshield.  Having your electronic devices onto the windshield blocked your view into the traffic and can be very dangerous.
