I've had 3 bank accounts, Wachovia, Armed Forces bank and SC federal credit union (even tho its not really a bank). Armed Forces bank was the only bank I felt didnt charge me crazy fees and I had access to ALL my money. Anybody here feel like SCFCU is a rip off? I always feel like they hide my money or transfer money from my savings to cover things I bought with my debit card even though I had enough to cover it in my checkings, they transfer my money around like its theirs.

  1. Sit down with a bank officer and go over the last 3 months statements - in particular those in which you believe are questionable.

Ask them why monies were transferred on such dates, and by what authority or policy.   Problem is probably due to miscommunication of your desires, or their policies.  The thing to do is determine which it is and then deal with any remaining issues that still exist the best you can.

  2. Yes, you are right...While in the Service..I experimented with several banks, but I feel the same way..SCFCU charges for everything..Nowadays, I use online banking only..I never go to the bank anymore..
