Question:

South Carolina restaurant laws?

I moved to SC from California not too long ago, and I just got a job at a restaurant as a server. Is there a difference of laws between the states? Does anyone know what websites I can use to look up SC state laws about restaurant, food, wages, etc?

  1. Most restaurant servers make about $2.15 an hour plus tips. When they are not serving (rolling silverware, cleaning etc) they get minimum wage. You could try typing in SC/labor laws in your searchbar.
