South Korea vs Argentina: Half Time Report
What an interesting match this is turning out to be. Argentina is really making the moves on South Korea. Both teams won their opening matches, results that have left their fans confident of another good result. The game has been fairly intense up till now with an unexpected result to the first half, Argentina with 2 goals and South Korea scoring just before half time.
The Bayern man had no idea what was going on when the ball came to him and Lee Chung-Yong was on hand to take full advantage of his lack of concentration. He had nothing left to do but knock the ball in past Romero. Great finish to the first half, but a ridiculous error from the long-haired Argentine.
Before this though Argentina got a free kick down the left which resulted in an ‘own goal’, what Demichelis should have put in the net, but completely missed, was knocked in by Park Chu-Young, very unlucky for the South Koreans. Next it became 2-0 as Higuain finally did something productive as the short free kick finally made its way to the back post and off Pipita's head into the net.
South Koreas late score has brought them up a level but this second half is going to be quite exciting as fans sit at the edges of their seats waiting to see what happens.
