Are Manly on their way down and looking at an early exit? They are playing poorly these past weeks.

  1. Alas, no chance.  Just a couple of wins early in the season would have put us in the 8.  But wasn't yesterday's win sweet?  Unexpected wins are always the best, and to flog Manly.  Bewdiful!

  2. I don't think Manly will be on the way out, they played well against the storm and just missed out. I think they just underestimated the souths and got spanked I don't think it will happen again. Unfortunately.

As for souths making the finals, its would be great if they could but they've left there run a little too late. Mathematically it might be possible but the 5 teams above them would have to lose every game or have a draw against eachother for them to get in. Phil Gould still has a job though so it goes to show, anything can happen.

  3. We're playing Poor the last few weeks? Please explain....

Last week, V Melbourne, it was a tight gritty contest which we played excellent in. We touched up Penrith the week before.

3 weeks ago, we lost to the Roosters with half our stars missing.

Of course, this week, was probably the worst we've played in the last few years. But I'd rather lose now then in the semis, which is a whole new ball game.

Souths to make the Finals? Win the comp? You alright?

Someone doesn't know much about League, it seems...

  4. No, not possible

  5. It would have been nice but even though it is mathematically possible, I doubt very much that Souths could make the finals.

Manly, who knows ( or cares).

  6. Na there not that good this year, though i think the comp will be a lot evener in the next couple years because the English Super League and French Rugby,

The Souths looked good in attack but not very good in defence, with Chris Sandow and Isac Luke in the team the Souths will be promising in the years to come.

John Sutton looked promising making breaks and offloading, he was the main cause of the Manly's missed tackles. If you heard the commentators I think it was Phil Gould said The Rabbits have caused the most line breaks against the Sea Eagles this year, (that's because of John Sutton and Chris Sandow.

Today the Rabbitohs showed that Manly can be betten by spreading it and making overlaps easily, when other teams have there video session during the week they will look at Manlys game and get around them early.

Well if your a Souths fan sorry I think there not gonna make it this year your luck will be next year. :)

  7. South Sydney can not make the 8..

even if they won the rest of their games...

  8. your funny

  9. who cares about Souths, they wont make it .  Its still  going to be a Storm   Manly grand Final

  10. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha NO

  11. Lol didnt you hear the commentators.. they said they are in no mans land, they cant make the finals and they cant get the wooden spoon.. Manly are still in good shape though

  12. They are getting much better than previous years. I don't know about the finals though maybe next year.

  13. do the maths, they've been out of contention for a few weeks, Souths are finished for 08. looking for an early exit? Manly's second on the table.

where souths on their way down and looking at an early exit? they played great in the first 7 weeks.

  14. mathematically possible but practically no chance....

  15. YES!    If all the teams in the Top 8 were caught breaking the salary cap and were stripped of all their points they just might make the eight.

Of course this would only put them into the semi's.  If they wanted to win the grand final, They would need to have all 15 teams break the cap.

  16. Go back to bed you silly man!

  17. No. The teams above them are playing strong enough to maintain their position on the table. Manly will hold onto second place.
