In the CSA Under-15s match between South Western Districts Under-15s and Griqualand West Under-15s, the latter won by 13 runs, successfully defending a target of 91, at Durban High School Old Boys Ground.
Griqualand West Under-15s, who chose to bat on winning the toss, lost their first wicket with only seven runs on the board.
This was followed by another wicket when they reached 19 as opener, L Lubbe, succumbed against Kleu with only eight to his name.
Before they could regroup, they suffered the loss of another wicket on the departure of R Roussow, who was caught and bowled by Kleu after scoring only a run. M de Kock was unimpressive with his one-run knock as well. By this time, Griqualand West Under-15s had managed to post 36 runs on the scoreboard.

Skipper T Traugott and M Wessels then tried to forge a tough resistance against the belligerent bowling attack, however, the duo could take the score to only 69 before the latter fell with only a run to his name.

While Share fell after scoring 13, the side crumbled after posting only 90 runs.
This was a big disappointment for Griqualand West Under-15s, and now it was imperative for them to give an outstanding performance in the field to register an unlikely victory.
South Western Districts Under-15s, however, gave their fans a shocker by losing the match as they could post only 77 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Even after getting a commendable start they lost their way, which increased the asking run rate beyond their limits.
