  1. there is brutality against foreigners right now. because they are "taking away" the jobs of the citizens and stuff. its really sad.

  2. Thabo Mbeki, president of South Africa, is too soft on Mugabe, president of Zimbabwe, resulting in thousands of Zimbabweans fleeing down south to South Africa.

Meanwhile back in South Africa, the government ignores the influx of illegal immigrants while failing to deal with the rising unemployment rate, a problem compounded by the government poorly planning their resources resulting in widespread blackouts.

As the economy sinks deeper into the hole that the government dug, poor South Africans begin to believe the governments claims that the high crime rates are being caused by foreigners.  With increased competition for jobs from these very foreigners, the poor reached breaking point resulting in what you see on TV today.

I'm not saying that what they're doing is right.  I'm saying it's the governments fault that it's happening.

  3. One very simple reason!

SA and particularly President Mbeki has defended and protected Robert Mugabe as he ruins his country and kills his own people.  As a consequence the population is fleeing to SA in ever increasing numbers and causing pressure on jobs, rising crime and terrible human problems.

More than 50 people were murdered and 300 acts of violence were committed every day even before this problem.
