Question:

South armagh/down and donegal accents...?

is it just me that thinks they sound very similar?

  1. i have a friend who is from Letterkenny, I think the Donegal accent is a mixture of both north and south. I've never heard the south armagh accent before unless Crossmaglen is there. that's the only Armagh accent I've heard before. but it sounds nothing like the other two. I have relatives in South Down - their accents are nothing like the Donegal accent.


  2. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

    i lived and was brought up near south Armagh. you can tell the difference a mile away
