South of Cancun? Beach? Sand?

Question

I am getting married at the Moon Palace in March. We are going to be doing a unity sand ceremony and I was wondering what color of sand that the beach there has? Please let me know if you have been there or close. Thanks so much!

I'm afraid Rodolfo is correct but, only partially.  It's not the beach per se that is bad, it's the water.  That area has a lot of seaweed in the water which tends to migrate up on the beach.  They do try and keep it cleaned up but they can only do so much.  Other than that, the Moon Palace is a great place to stay.  The pool area is huge and most of the activities center around there.  I'm sure you will have a good time there, enjoy and congradulations!

the color of the sand is clear, almost white, that its a beautifull point in the caribean.
