  1. You need to buy a seperate ticket.

  2. At the moment Pay-as-You-Go Oyster cards cannot be used on Southeastern Trains. If you was to buy a 1 day travelcard on the Oyster card then you would be just fine.

But in your case where you have just topped it up then you could get done by the ticket collector this is because the machines do not have the software to debit your card to pay for your fare. In the next two years this will change. A friend of mine is running the project to roll it out to all overground railways arround London

  3. think you need to buy a ticket unfortunatly. yeah they keep sayin all this about you cant use oyster on the southeastern/western trains. sorry hun.

  4. Nope you need to buy a Rail ticket, Oyster is only accepted on London transport, unless you purchase a R1-6 travelcard and then pay the excess if you travel onwards.

  5. Oyster pre pay is NOT valid on South Eastern Trains, However, if your journey is totally within the London Travelcard zones and you download a One Day Travelcard on to your Oyster before commencing your journey, it will be valid
