Do you think In And Out is going to replace McDonald's by the year 2015?

Well, in n out is not nearly as spread out as McDonald's.

In n out is only in a few US states, whereas McDonald's is in so many countries now.

For awhile I thought McDonald's wasn't doing so great, I mean, who gives out sandwiches with purchases of drinks?

Shouldn't it be the opposite?

I don't eat out much, but I definitely pick in n out over McDonald's. Even though this would be a nice thing to happen, it probably never will.

Too many people rely on McDonalds and their low prices due to convenience, so people will always buy from them.

I don't see In n out replacing McDonalds, ever.

I wish!  Their food is better quality, their service has ALWAYS been outstanding, and I love the Bible verses on their paper products...But I highly doubt it...I've lived in Japan - do you realize that IN n' OUT would have to get all they way to a foreign country like Japan, and then figure out how to make their burger palatable to the Japanese?  The McDonalds in Japan has a Teriyaki burger instead of a Big N' Tasty, and they have Tiramisu for dessert instead of apple pie.  It took Starbucks almost 30 years to get over there!  I don't think IN n' OUT is even trying...

I doubt it. I don't even think it's in In N Out's gameplan to beat out McDonald's. Their a family owned business and they'll probably stay that way. And yes, they kick McD's butt when it comes to food.

No way, McDonalds is a powerful corporation and IN-n-out is owned by a family.  In-n-out is a billion times better but its no match for all those CEOs.

Trivia question.  What does McDonald's make the most money on?  Answer below.

In-N-Out is only in about five states and are privately (family) owned.   McDonald's is global corporate monster and is heavily franchised.  In-N-Out doesn't have the money nor the desire to turn into the next McDonald;s.  I agree they are much better than McDonald;'s in all aspects.  

BTW, carnivores should ask them for the quad.

Trivia question.  What does McDonald's make the most money on?  

Real estate.  They own the building and property of most of the store franchises.  As for what food makes them the most, it's the Happy Meal.

McDonald's can't be replaced.  Sure there food is of questionable quality, but d**n if it isn't delicious.  When Mickey D's sees a competitor as a threat they develop a new menu item to draw back customers. Think of the iced coffee campaign, angus beef burgers, and now this new southern chicken sandwich.  

McDonalds has a ringer - the fries.  For many, including myself, there is none better than McDonalds fries.  As long as they develop comprable menu items the fries will bring people back to McDonalds every time.
