Southern California is going to have an earthquake?!?

I read something about how they're predicting an earthquake very soon and the plates are moving causing the weather. I don't know! But i'm just panicking because I HATE EARTHQUAKES :(

i heard on the news tonight -- because of the tremors they are having -- that it is a sure bet in 60 years and very good chance within 30 years ---you must be the only one that hates earthquakes because everyone else loves them -- relax, the way you sound you will die of ulsers before the eathquake happens

Unusual animal behaviors before earthquakes

Mammals Nervous, restless, irritated, panic and act “crazy”.

Human Headache, nausea, urge to vomit, giddiness, dizziness, heart complaints, nervous        

disorders, hysteria, bad weather symptoms.

Dogs Bark loudly, whine ingratiatingly, anxious.  Act as if tracking an unseen enemy; panic and bite owners, bark and pull owners outside, howl insufferably as if they have rabies.

Um, no.  Plate techtonics and weather have nothing to do with one another.

Predicting earthquakes is a thankless and very imprecise science--if the weather had anything to do with it, their job might be easier, but it's not.  Good luck with that.

No one can know for sure. There will be more 'quakes in Ca,that much in certain. The "big one"-no one can tell.

The geologists can only predict likelyhood of an event. Ca is full of faults, as is every western state.
