  1. The allblacks are unlucky in the last two world cups not too come away with the trophy. Northern hemisphere should exploit the kick and chase game more against southern hemisphere teams as this is what has won over the allblacks in the previous 2 world cups something they dont do in touring matches they cannot match it physically witht he southern hemisphere teams too much conditioning which shows in the second half scores continuosly.

  2. the sh teams are just starting their season and they are pumped up from the super 14's while nh teams are just ending there long season and are tired from the hiniken cup and magners league and the six nations

  3. Some rugby balance is being restored. Good result for the Scots should see their ranking improve somewhat.

I think the NH should be scared of some bigger scores once the ELVs come in.

  4. NH teams are unimaginative and play a more basic fundamental, risk free rugby.

    more risk, more reward.

they also recycle the ball a lot slower than the SH teams, who make the gain line over and over because the quick recycle caught the defense on the backfoot.

  5. Agree with you 100% Those A.B.'s got a result. Hoping to get tickets for the Dublin match.

  6. It's looking OK I think, all away games, Ire just losing out, England missing several key players, (need a SH with quicker hands, and a fly half who doesn't get injured Cipriani/Wilko etc), Scotland turning around last week's loss, (Paterson played a good game) and maybe Wales being the weakest performer on the day, (but what a run from Williams)...so, yeah, not great, but not the embarrassment of a few years ago with the tours from h**l to the SH.

But overall verdict, getting there but still needs work, like my school reports used to say !lol

  7. lets face it the southern hemisphere will probably always be better at rugby as it is the more played sport, soccor is more played in northern hemisphere and is the primary sport there... more attention needs to be given to rugby in the northern hemisphere if they want to be considered the better hemisphere....... tri-nations is a harder competition than six-nations and the super 14 is the most physical rugby competiion in the world... southern hemispheres more physical which allows them to win more games... SA vs Wales, the first test, the springboks physically owned wales

  8. the AllBlacks have 8 new players and are in a rebuilding stage, the Irish have shown a lot of bottle and are the pick of the Nth Hemishpere teams.England have won 7 tests out of 30 against the AllBlacks,Argentina have never beaten the The AllBlacks along with Scottland,The Sth Africans have won 8 out of 30 against the AllBlacks and Australia have won 11 from 30 attempts since the game has become professional

  9. Southern Hemisphere teams are far more creative, The Irish stupidly tried to play a Southern Style through the backs against Australia and lost. If they had held the ball and taken on the Aussie pack they might have won.

  10. The games are nothing, all they are doing is playing for the sake of playing, all 4 northern sides did not put out there 1st teams as most of the big names are resting after a very strong and long season, most have aches pains and injuries and deserve the break.  Look for the second test and then compare the results to when the home teams start there seasons in Sept / Nov and the Home challenges, this is when the Southerners have just about finished their season and will be in the same position as the Northern Players.

  11. Cant wait for a new zealand vs. south africa match, its gonna be tight , south africa are currently best in the world and are playing brilliantly, but the new zealanders looked good against england, and with richie mccaw captaining them there a good chance they could win. definatley the match to watch!

  12. Home ground advantage.

The best team lost to Australia.

  13. Wales did well with a Re-jigged 15 !!

Its always nice to see The Chariot Swingers get licked !

But I'm with Stephen M you can't really read  lot into the results, these games have come at the end of a Very long season for the NH teams and the SH season has only recently started !!

  14. We obviously don't get enough sun !

  15. These tours and the autumn internationals are completely meaningless. Without both NH/SH seasons being in sync there is little point in taking either negatives or positives from them. Just accept them for what they are...fairly cynical commercial money making opportunities..

  16. I wouldn't worry too much about these friendlies, look what happened to the All Blacks against France in the world cup when it really mattered!!!! Most teams are rebuilding and I'm sure we will see their true metal in the not to distant future.

  17. It's no secret that SH rugby has always been superior to that of the NH. The Scots, Irish , Italy and Canada have never recorded a win over the All Blacks. The Welsh hasn't beaten the All Blacks in over 50 years . The Poms has only beaten the All Blacks 6 times out of 30 games and France has only beaten the All Blacks 11 times out of 46 games. I think we can all agree that southerners are better in the game that was started by northerners. Lol!!!!!!

  18. Wales came very close to shocking SA, they were leading 21-20 at one point and were only 2 points behind at half time. The scoreline flattered SA. Had they had their strongest team (Martyn Williams et al) I believe they would have won.

  19. i would not lose any sleep over this, but in all fairness wales did put up a better showing this time.but if gatland gets his way, Wales will become alot stronger.and well done to the Wales juniors on beating France in the world cup at the liberty on saturday.so there is much talent to come through in years to come providing we can keep the system of moving up to the higher level of international scene.

  20. i'm not reading too much into these games.  South Africa are world champions so not surprising they won, England is a brand new and very young team and ireland pushed Australia close.  So not a great day but i think things will improve in the future
