Southern cross university tweed gold coast campus question?

Hi does anyone know if there are any docks walking distance from this campus. I was hoping to do fishing off the rocks or docks. What is this campus good for during leasure time besides surfing. Is this a crowded campus, are there any secluded spots where there arent many people, or si mainly city atmosphere. Thanks

Hi. I am a student of SCU in Lismore NSW. As far as I know there isnt any fishing spots within walking distance to the campus you are talking about. The Gold Coast is getting busier by the year but there are some lovely spots around that are secluded, you just have to look for them. I know of some but unless you get a good map you wont know of them. Public transport on the GC isnt too bad but like all places could be better. The Tweed Coast and the Gold Coast has a very relaxed lifestyle - so relaxed in fact that it borders on boring ;)

There's plenty of beautiful beaches close to Tweed Heads, and the mouth of the Tweed River has some good fishing, so I've heard.
