Im 21, lived in Texas all my life ( we apologize about Bush and making us look like idiots)... anyway, im planning on saving $10,000 and heading out to London and stay there for 3-4 weeks. My question is:

is $ 10,000 enough for 3-4 weeks?

if not, what do you suggest?

any advice on what to expect?....

Im just tired of the same thing everyday!... i just feel like time doesnt move forward. Im tired of knowing what to expect throught the day.. i wish i would wake up one day and not know what the day will bring.

I've never even had a boyfriend!..... i basically grew up with everyone around here, we went to grade school, junior high, high school and now and now that im in college, I STILL SEE THEM!!... it would be too weird to go out with them... i have to get away atleast for one month!

what do you think?

oh and i really do apologize about Bush.

  1. take a train up the CA coast and into canada - beautiful country, you'll meet new people, see new places, know more of what America has.  Why London?  It's always cloudy!  You'll save money starting here.  Talk to people on the train for their favorite travel destinations.

  2. Well i live in texas also Dallas texas. Im 11 years old and I have been all around the world and im 11 years older than you. But my parents deal with the money stuff so I dont really know.

    Sorry!

  3. G W Bush is the President, twice over.

  4. You don't need to apologize about Bush!  Would you rather have racist Obama in office.  Quit complaining about Bush.  No, he's not perfect (noone is).  However, his disappointments.  PALE to what we might have if Obama is elected.  McCain is not great, but he is not a racist.  If Obama is elected, he would be the first person proclaimed to associate with other racists (L. Farakhan, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright).  Those examples are not fears set by the Republicans -they are the truth.  Just open your eyes.

I suggest that you travel around the US first, before you study abroad anyway.    I think you really need to understand what America is all about before you travel abroad.  Travelling throughout the US is the best.  I did it and it was great.

  5. if youve never gone anywhere try taking more of a shorter trip first like somewhere in the unitedstates such as colorado ( thats where i live) the build up to going to london take it step by step
