I know that Southwest has changed their policy about preboarding with kids (we just flew a few weeks ago). However on my return flight I'm flying alone with my 2 year old and I need to preboard. Her Britax carseat is too wide for the aisle so I need to lift it up and hold my child at the same time, which is impossible. So I want to sit in the front row if possible. Plus I need help putitng her carseat in the seat. I had my hubby with me on the first flight so we could do all of this together. but I'm stressing about doing all of this alone.

Will they let me preboard?

or

Will the flight attendents help me with the carseat and such?

Thanks!!!

  1. It's been my experience that the flight attendants are very helpful in such situations.  Even if they aren't, most people will help a mom with an armful of 2-year-old if only to get them out of the aisle.

  2. The flight attendants will absolutely help you.  If the front rows are taken and that is the only place you can sit they will ask for volunteers to accomodate your needs...
