Sovereign Debt determined to win Races Handicap
Sovereign is fully determined to clinch top spot in the At The Races Handicap at Ascot racecourse on Friday, May 11. The action will commence at 7:10 (GMT).
The high-stakes Class 2 contest is offering £12,938 to the supposed winner. On the soft course of 7 furlongs, Sovereign Debut will compete against 10 rivals that include Crown Dependency, Moon Pearl, Lord OFthe Shadows, Tidentime, Abishena, Perfect Step,
Worthington, Elusive Flame, Spykes Bay and Emperor Vespasian.
The Michael Bell-trained brown clot owns a terrific track record. After making his debut on May 28, 2011, the three-year-old novice runner elegantly bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs during June-July.
The talented runner moved on to finish 4th in a subsequent race. He performed well and got a runner-up rank in his last outing on April 28, 2012.
On the basis of these eye-catching performances, the bookmakers have mandated the colt as the hot favourite runner for today’s Handicap.
The favourite tag along with his inherent racing skills will enable the son of Dark Angel out of Kelsey Rose to make a big impact. He has as high as 95 percent chances to thrive provided he keeps his stamina intact throughout the track.
