Sow bugs are placed in experimental chambers that are either humid or dry and have both light and dark areas.?

IN the humid chamber the sow bugs move into the dark area and stop moving. IN the dry chamber they move into the dark area and continue to move about in that area Explain these experimental results.

* i love biology but its just hard for me to understand questions like this, like i dont know how to answeer them. pls helpp.

  1. Sow bugs show kinesis, or random movement that eventually gets them into the area they prefer.

    In this example, the sow bugs stop moving when they get into damp and dark conditions.  So, this is their preferred habitat.

    In the dry environment, they move to the dark side because it's better than the light, but since the environment is dry, they keep moving in that chamber hoping to come across a damp area within the dark.


  2. i think we are missing some information here. When i did this experiment there was 4 different chambers and 3 tests. Was this the same for you?
