Question:

Soy-milk cartons Recyclable?

I drink soy milk so I get a lot of those cardboard cartons that they usually come in. I've looked all over the box to see if they can be recycled but so far I cannot find any number or imprint saying that they're recyclable. Does anybody know for sure if they are or not? They're the same cartons that you can get Dole juice in.

If not, do you have a handy way of reusing them?

  1. I don't think they are recyclable. Just like pizza cartons. Maybe someday.....

For now, just toss it to the landfill, knowing it will be nestled beneath a beautiful neighborhood someday.

  2. Boxed beverage containers, including soy milk cartons ARE in fact recyclable so do notput them into the garbage. You can put them into your recycling bin along with regular milk and juice containers. If you ever have any questions about eligible materials you can dial 311 (Halton Government Services <free service>)

To Gary C- FYI- You can now put your greasy pizza boxes into the greencart :)

  3. Depends on where you live. Where I live wax cartons can not be recycled.
