Space Engineering???

Why cant i design and build the space ship.

Is there aerospace engineering The builders who build the space ship= in all one job

No way, this is much too complex. You need specialists in propulsion, control (avionics/electronics), systems, structure, weight and balance, aerodynamics, performance, and the list goes on and on.

An seasoned enginner may hope (HOPE!) to be proficient in one or two of those fields. Not all of them. Wanting to do it all by oneself (including the fabrication) would require several centuries (and huge amount of money. Some material required are as expensive as gold).

As an aerospace engineer, you generally don't build the [space ship] with your own hands.  You're responsible for the design, someone else does the physical task of building the vehicle.
