Space Telescope tipped to win Walters UK Ltd Handicap Hurdle
Space Telescope is all set to prevail in the Walters UK Ltd Handicap Hurdle at Ffos Las in England on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will be awarded a cash prize of £1,819.
The going will be good in the 3 mile race, which is scheduled to start at 16:10 GMT. A total of nine runners have lined up for action at Ffos Las and their names are as follows: Space Telescope, Rocky Ryan, Free Advice, Amazing Valour, Iheardu, Sieglinde,
The Composer, Chilbury Hill and Flag Flier.
At the moment, the best chances of victory appear to be with Space Telescope, as he seems to be in decent form right now. He has been doing a good job over the past few events, thus the punters will be encouraged to place a lot of bets in his favour.
The six-year-old gelding has participated in 19 hurdles until now, winning three of them and finishing runner up once. In addition to that, he has also secured the third spot on four occasions, which shows that he is capable of competing at the front.
Although the Jonjo O'Neill’s trainee does not have a good strike rate, he has the tools to deliver a winning run at Ffos Las. He is carrying a very good momentum, finishing first in his most recent race. He was rated favourite to deliver such a strong
result and he lived up to the expectations of everyone in the end.
Looking at the current form of Space Telescope, it seems difficult for others to stop him from taking the top spot once again. He will be partnered by seasoned jockey, A. P. McCoy, who has won quite a few races at this level and has got an impressive
strike rate, which shows that he performs consistently. The veteran rider will definitely attract a lot of bets today.
Rocky Ryan is the one, who has also earned the confidence of the bookies for this race. He is in decent form at the moment and will definitely not make things easy for Space Telescope.
Overall, the nine-year-old gelding has participated in eight races over hurdles, winning one of them and finishing runner up on the same number of times.
