Yes. I use them to store my wedding dress and it still hasn't yellowed after 10 years. i also have some with out of season clothing and extra blankets in them. Keeps the bugs out and they smell still fresh when you pull them out.

~~It appears the new ones are much improved and do not  leak like the older ones did. Go to www.qvc.com and put in space bags in the search box. You can read tons of reviews from buyers, overall they have been very happy.~~

I've bought cheap ones and I have bought expensive ones, bought them a long time ago and just recently...They ALL expand slowly over a 6 month period. There may be better ones in the US but here in Australia they are totally useless. Better to get large garbage bags, then sit on them and squish the air out, then tie real fast with tape! Works better for me!
