Space question :] ?

Question

Say you were in space, on a spaceship all alone, what do you think you would see out there and how would you feel?

i could just imagine watching shooting stars glide past in total silence :)

shooting stars !!!!!! no i think once u r in space ur out of escape velocity so u can see some asteroids &if u ask of feeling it wud b a gr8 feeling i mean top of the world

i would be bored as h**l! It would take years and years to get to anything exciting, and if you did, you would probably be killed by it. Sorry, just how it is. Also, shooting stars only happen when a peice of 'space rock' enter earth's atmosphere, then it burns up which creates light.

Isn't a shooting star a meteor breaking up in our athmosphere or something? Sorry but you would not see a shooting star.

a bunch of stars and maybe planets, like you'd see in the night sky on earth, but closer. by shooting stars, do you mean comets? if so, yes. I will see it in person very soon. if you want more info, click my name.

first of all its amazing to have a 360 degree view of space and i think you may see lot more things going around in the total silence of the space  that has never been seen by our scientists.

And talking about your imagination of seeing shooting stars, it is a 50% probable one. By fortunate if a shooting star is passing in the direction in which your space shuttle is going through then it is 100% chance to see those shooting stars due to reason of the relative velocity but if it is opposite to you then relative velocity becomes so much intense that you may not capture in your natural eyesight lenses. Anyway seeing those spectacular views, you will have an intense feeling that you are one of the luckiest person in the whole universe
