Spacemaker not pulling water out of the water...

Question

Started out great, then about 2mos after use (and gentle cleaning) it would only brew 1 oz and then stop. It started to have a slow drip so I ran a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar through and it started working again. One month later the unit would steam and the base under the pot would heat, but it would not pull water through to brew. Now it doesn't even do that; the display lights up but that's it. This seems to be a common problem with this model. I am wondering if it has anything to do with hard water.
