Spacer between fixed cog and hub spokes?

Question

i have my new wheel witha fixed gear hub, i put the cog on and the lockring...but i see the cog very close to the spokes...the chain doesnt touch the spockes but i dont know if maybe i need a spacer? is it exist? or is only my hunch? thanks

You may have put your cog on upside-down. Cogs usually have a little "dish" to them. Or it will have a little slot in it for the lock-ring. If you put that slot down, the cog would end up closer to the spokes. If all that is okay, then, you're good.
