Spacers!! omg!?

do spacers hurt while getting them on???

or mostly like an hour later??

OMG yea They hurt but I couldnt take it so I used a bobby pin and popped them out.

oohh i hated spacers

make sure you take tylenol/advil BEFORE you go. trust me, you're going to need it.

they don't hurt when they're first on, but after a few hours they hurt hurt hurt. its very painful.

just make sure to take that tylenol!

don't be scared! braces are worth it!

Eh i wouldn't say they hurt when they are putting them in but for the next three days YOUR TEETH WILL BE ON FIRE at least mine were Good luck!

I don't see the hype in spacers. I have them in right now, I got them last Tuesday and they will be removed tomorrow.

Getting them on is not painful at all, it takes 5 minutes and it just feels annoying, like food in your teeth.

4 hours later y teeth got sore, I took IBprofin and I was fine, I have 8 in.

For the first few days eat soft foods. I stuck with Chef Boreide (sp?), Spaghetto's, soup, and Sherbert.  

By the third day I could eat fine, I had pizza, a hoagie, and chips.

They will hurt a little but gently chewing on them, sucking on ice, and meds help alot. You'll be fine. The thing I hate most is that they are green and look like food in my teeth.

Goodluck, are you getting braces or invisalign? I am getting my first set of invisaligns tomorrow!

Mine hurt. It was the worse part of the braces experience for me personally.

they are little rubberband thingys that go around your teeth...

they push on your teeth so it may be uncomfortable later, take some ibuprofen with you...

it is nothing to put them on, in and out

Spacers arent that bad compared to braces.

When I got spacers it hurt to get the put in only because my teeth were EXTREMLEY tight together.

You shouldnt have a problem. :]
