  1. very quite resort if your looking for a fun filled holiday this is not the resort to go to.try benidorm down the road

  2. Close ya eyes girl and you'll think you're in Yarmouth or Blackpool.

Ha Ha Dimblond, she'll never forget ME

  3. never been myself but my mum+dad go so that should say it all there in there 70s!!!!! its very quiet.

  4. No forget the guy who says close your eyes and think Blackpool and Yarmouth. Altea is more suited to older people or couples with young children who want nice weather, beach, etc without Yobs. It is a family destination.

If you want something else then go to Magaluf etc. I live in Denia, about 20 minutes north of Altea. Please remember that, apart from Benidorm, this whole coast is not very touristy, so expect a quieter family sort of holiday. But still plenty to do because Benidorm is just down the road a bit.

It is not the Costa Brava and it is not the Costa del Sol, well not yet anyway. So decide what sort of holiday you want. Also remember that mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands are not Winter Sun destinations. That is the Canaries. March will be quite warm, evening can be quite cool. You do take a bit of a chance with the weather. But it should be quite pleasant. March in not a guaranteed pool and beach time in Spain. Unless it is the Canaries, Teneriffe etc.

That's the truth, so you decide
