The Madridista has expressed that his national side is experiencing a historic era of football, claiming that winning this year’s Euro would be another remarkable feat.
Spain’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 is more than pleased with the Spanish national side’s exploits at the international stage. The player stated that he is over the moon at being a part of the team that delivers so much happiness to their fans.  
This statement by Ramos has come in wake of La Roja booking their place in the final of the Euro 2012. After eliminating their Iberian neighbours, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 del Bosque’s men have managed to reach their third competitive
international final during the past four years.
The Reds started to assert their superiority over others on international level when they secured the silverware in the Euro 2008. After ousting http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 in the final, the Iberians lifted their second European Championship trophy, four years ago.
The year 2010 saw the European champions become champions of the world as they got their hands on the most coveted trophy in the beautiful sport.
An extremely talented crop of players managed by the veteran tactician, Vicente del Bosque, brought forward a potent mix that made the Red Fury unstoppable against a majority of opponents that they faced.
Although, many believe their football is too defensive and/or too boring, the Spaniards have established themselves as a footballing powerhouse.
Ramos has emphasized that being part of the team that has been so successful in recent years is a truly great honour. The defender stressed that he has every intention of bringing more happiness to the Spanish fans.
While talking to reporters, the centre-back was quoted as saying:
"Of course we think about making history. We know what we are playing for on Sunday, although we know that no matter what happens, we have already made history. The icing on top of the cake would be to win the Euros. The entire country can be very proud
of us, regardless if we win or lose."
La Furia Roja will take on the Italians in the final of the Euro 2012 on July 1.
