  1. Hello-

Well, it depends upon the time of year, and if you get lucky with promotions on-line for other routes.  The bus is probably the least fun way to go, though.  Usually, the buses make quite a few stops on the way, and many times take you off the route.

Once I was looking up the cheapest way for my mom to go from Valencia to Sevilla- and it actually turned out to be by plane!!  So, you never know.

Bus does usually turn out to be the cheapest, but the best thing is to look up your particular date for the three main transportation routes: bus, train, plane.

Anyways, you can check out some pricing for your time frame at www.alsa.es for buses.  I just typed it in from the first Barcelona station for a trip tomorrow, and found a price range of 23,67 euros to 37 euros for one way- round trip ranged from 44,97 to 70,30- all depending upon the time of day you decided to leave.

For train, you can check www.renfe.es-

Train one way for tourist class ranged from 31-38 euros, unless you're a kid. ;)

For planes, of course, you can go to each company's site- or to a number of other sites that check them all for the best price.

    Hope that helps-

and hope you have a good trip.

  2. I want to second Tariza, there.  Barcelona to Valencia is not a long route...I'm guessing train is best.  It's quick and probably not much more expensive than the bus.  Although I understand that planes are pretty cheap and an easy way to get around everywhere in Europe.
