Spain is sooooooo fun!!!!!!!!! you want to party, it is a great place to party everynight of the week, the only thing is the Spanish don't start partying until 1 or 2 in the morning and they go until 9 in the morning.  Beaches are beautiful, food is great, drink is cheap.

Spain is many countries all rolled into one therefore the culture in Spain is very varied and interesting. Its Atlantic shores and the huge plains of the interior have very distinct characteristics. You can do anything and everything in Spain...For partying Barcelona, Costa Brava, Costa del Sol, and Ibiza are the places to be - especially during the Festival of San Joan(June 20-24) - lots of sangria and cerveza flows at that time...but really there's always a party going on in these places...

Beaches: Costa del Sol and Costa Brava as well as the Canary Islands (Tenerife for example has a cool - I mean hot - black sand beach) have some of the best. The festival of San Fermin is another opportunity to drink (July 7th-14th) - San Fermin is also when the running of the bulls in Pamplona occurs (Northern part of Spain)...a tradition during this time is to go from bar to bar in a group shouting "Yo quiero un chupito" (aka "I want a shot""a little something to drink"). Of course you can't go to Spain without going into a Tapas bar...order a cerveza (beer) and you get more than a bowl of stale peanuts (typical of North America) - gambas and pollo al ajillo (garlic prawns and chicken) are my favourites....

Now if you are interested in a little bit of culture you'll find it in spades in Spain....from castles to cathedrals to fortified and medieval cities...you will never be bored in this country! Viva Espana!

Futbol, paella, tortilla, Bacardi + Kas de Limon, Kas de Naranja, Ibiza, Pacha!, Madrid, can we say botellon?, Barcelona, Salvador Dali, Picasso, Miro, Gaudi, Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, La Cibeles, oranges from Valencia, olives from the South,  Sagrada Familia, the great beaches, the great nude beaches, La Concha beach in San Sebastian, surfing, great weather, crazy parties, champagne (cava!) . . . . Spain is great, go there and experience it ALL!
