Luciano Spalletti is upbeat over Zenit St. Petersburg’s chances to win the upcoming Russian Premier League tie despite their boring draw against Anzhi Makhachkala

Luciano Spalletti has lamented the situation, admitting that the shortage of attacking options against the Makhachkala-based club was the root cause behind their first draw of the ongoing league campaign.
"Anzhi are a strong team. The team is among the favourites to win the championship as well as CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow and Zenit. But I think that no team can win all matches. You can see, we had quite a serious problem with
the composition.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Out of all the key players in the treatment room, Shirokov is likely to play the upcoming match against the Volzhane. Spalletti admitted that the attacking midfielder is in contention to play some part of the match after recovering
from a latest injury.
“http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 is OK, but you have to be very careful about the important players. We will not push him to full training. Anyukov will prepare for the game and Shirokov is the most likely to play the upcoming match. We are assessing Kerzhakov’s
situation while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-Alves-c8108, Semak and Aleksandr Lukovic will not play.” He concluded.
The former Udinese manager believes that his side will bounce back from the disappointing league draw, insisting that the St. Petersburg club have already started preparing for the much anticipated match in the training sessions.
As things stand, the Kazan-based club are at the 5th spot on the league table and trail the St. Petersburg club by just four points.
The Italian tactician went on to hail latest signing, Luka Dordevic, admitting that the Montenegrin forward, who played the entire ninety minutes against the Dagestani club, made some fine movement in the game.
