Zenit St. Petersburg will lock horns with CSKA Moscow in the upcoming Russian Premier League tie at Luzhniki stadium. The last time these two sides met in a league competition, the Meshki managed to win the tie 2-0 against the
Moscow-based club.

red cards in their 3-1 defeat against Amkar Perm.
Zenit, on the other hand, will be without their talismanic Russian defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Anyukov-c4549.
The Bomzhi head coach, Luciano Spalletti, has confirmed that the prolific Russian defender, who represented his national side under d**k Advocaat at Euro 2012, is not likely to participate against the Koni after sustaining an injury.
“I've already talked a bit about the problem. He is seriously ill and had a problem with his throat. He failed to exercise at his strength. Last week he suffered a relapse of a kind, he felt unwell, got fever, and so he is not
ready for one hundred percent.”
"He has individually practiced today, working in the gym. In the match against CSKA Moscow, he just will not take part.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Spalletti went on to admit that CSKA have a decent squad despite losing key players to injuries and suspensions. He urged his side to work harder for the upcoming match and assured the fans of claiming a third straight win in the
Russian championship.
Zenit kick started the league campaign with a 2-0 win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 after securing all three points against Dynamo Moscow lately.
The Italian tactician went on to hint at strengthening the St. Petersburg club during the ongoing summer transfer window, insisting that they are doing a lot of hard work to complete a number of deal this summer.
