Spam on autotrader!?

Question

i've been trying to sell a car on autotrader and every single email we have recieved has seemed dodgy, e.g. people wanting to buy the car with bankers drafts and wanting to buy without ever viewing it!- has anyine else experienced this?

Every time I posted something on craigslist so on any thing including e-bay there are a lot of scams.  CASH only.

I had this happen to me, the person wanted to purchase the car by emailing a check and having the car shipped, it's a scam. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is.

yup there scammers...you can always tell by the way they word the email...youll keep getting them for months even after the car is sold.
