Spam to email groups?

Question

There used to be a button in emails to report the individual email/emailer as spam/spammer. Now, reporting an email from an email group sends all emails from the group to spam instead of reporting the emailer as a spammer. Is there another way to report individual spammers? One of my groups is gettting spam emails for "Freebies" but the spammers are smart enough to use a new email address each time. Any suggestions/solutions?

if you want to stop anyone from joining your group to spamm it..do this what i do..set your group on pending by doing this

go to :Management  and then to membership and next check off the :Restricted (you approve all requests for membership) and that last thing is go to Messages : and go inside of Posting and Archives :and make sure you have all these checked off:Who can post :Members,Reply-to All Members,

Moderation :New members,Attachments:Remove,Spam Filtering :ON

the next thing do this:Archive Options:Access

Now I have all my groups setup this way..so if anyone tryings to join you have to look them over first and if you let them in that find but you still have control over your posting..each post for your members will now be in a pending folder and it will not reach the group or members unless you approve of it. This will stop spammed..and you can delete the post for the spammed..and you can ban them as well. It will not matter how many time they change there e-mail in hopes to get in as it will be the same thing all posting will be in a pending folder..and your are now in control of your group..

Orphaned groups are tough to manage.

Have you considered starting a new group and moving over there with all the legit members?
