Span on model aircraft?

Question

hey guys and girls i need help on designing model planes can the span be anything or does it need to be a specf. size according to the chord of the plane? and same applies to the chord can it be anything or does it need to be a spec and what is the angle of the wing or does it not matter and if all of the above is specs where can i get it from or can u please

Start subscribing to an aircraft model making mag - they cover this stuff every so often. Also they will frequently include a build-it-yourself plan.

Span-to-chord ratio and wing section decide how it behaves in the air, so you choose what you want and design accordingly (example - long and narrow wings equal good gliding but slow turns).
